The elements of Games started off as a set of workshops for the SLQ Game ON exhibition, we have since set then organised them for a number of other locations. Talk to us if you want to host some workshops.

The Elements of Gaming provides an insight into the creativity and daily lives of contemporary Game Makers, through a series of personal talks and hands-on workshops by those in the industry. The following set is based on the popular series of talks and practical workshops about games and technology, presented by QUT Creative Industries Precinct and IGDA, and presented at the State Library of Queensland as part of the 2008/9 GAME ON exhibition. Each workshop is a ‘stand-alone’ although our experience is that people often attend all of them.
