The Game On program has been running since 2007. We offer the game development community and the public a yearly program of events and workshops. This program is designed and organised by ‘the aunties’ (truna and Lubi Thomas) and supported by a number of local institutions.

The program was responsible for the overall curation of a number of different events during its heydays between 2007 and 2017 including a decade of the fabulous 48hr game making challenge, a supporting program of events and ‘studio in a bubble’ for the 2009 Game On Exhibition, a series of workshops for the SLQ Garage Gamer Program, Industry – Tertiary monthly talks, and the (now lovingly renamed) Queensland Games Festival.
