Dan is an indie game developer with ~15 years' experience and skills in game design, art and programming. He co-founded, and helped evolve, Halfbrick for ~10 years, and actively seeks out mentoring opportunities to share his experience. |
| Gordon Moyes - Curious Bear & Griffith Film School
Gordon Moyes has over 20 years of local and international experience in the computer and video game industry. Gordon has played key roles on some of Australia’s most successful AAA game productions. Having produced Pandemic’s million selling Destroy All Humans! and its 2006 sequel Destroy All Humans! 2: Make War Not Love, his career began with the coding of the graphics engine for Auran’s multi-award winning Dark Reign. |
| Meg Summers - Screwtape Studios
Megan is the co-founder of Screwtape Studios and has recently been working with Equity Arcade to launch their game, Damsel, on a new crowdfunding platform. The process has helped her learn international business along the way. Over the past 12 months, she has been working on Damsel and keeping Screwtape under control while they worked to launch their Equity campaign with Equity Arcade. |
| Nicole Stark - Disparity Games
Nicole Stark is the very proud recipient of the inaugral MCVPacific WIG award for Creative Inspiration. She has held senior positions on a variety of shipped titles with project sizes ranging from triple A console to indie mobile. She's had her surfing animations praised by an Australian champion surfer and her Barbie costume designs praised by Mattel. She's passionate about encouraging more girls to make and play games and has organised workshops, panels and given talks in the UK, USA and Australia. In 2011 Nicole, her husband Jason and their four daughters moved Noosa and formed Disparity Games. |
| John Passfield - Red Sprite Studios
John made Halloween Harry / Alien Carnage, Flight of the Amazon Queen and co-created Ty the Tasmanian Tiger. He had his first game published in 1984 and has founded a number of Australian game studios including Krome Studios. John develops mobile games and is currently building an augmented reality platform game for the iPhone and iPad.

Morgan Jaffit helps make games happen! Defiant Development is a boutique game development studio located in Brisbane Australia, with a focus on developing high quality games for mobile and emerging platforms.
Publishers of Ski Safari, Developers of Heroes Call, Ben 10 Slammers and Hand of Fate. they are currently working on Hand of Fate 2 and its board game adaptation, which smashed its Kickstarter goal, with another local studio, Rule and Make.

| Antony Reed - Chief Executive Officer, Game Developers’ Association of Australia
Antony Reed is the CEO of the Game Developers’ Association of Australia and a 23-year veteran of the interactive entertainment industry. With global experience in game development and publishing, Antony has been the marketing mind behind many of the world’s biggest games franchises and has won numerous awards for his campaigns. Today, as the leader of Australia’s peak industry body, Antony advocates the interests of the sector to government, educational, financial and commercial institutions as well as enthusiastically promoting the industry internationally.

| Katryna Starks - Serious Games, USC
Katryna designed the Interactive Narrative minor within the Serious Games Design degree at the University of the Sunshine Coast and currently lectures within the program. She is also completing her PhD as a member of University of the Sunshine Coast’s ENGAGE lab. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology with a focus on how video games can foster health-promoting behaviors. Her current research focus is on how narrative within games effects identification, self-efficacy and agency in adolescent and young adult females |

Cheryl is is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of Prideful Sloth - a micro-AAA developer known for technical excellence in world-building and a focus on player-driven experiences. Their most recent game - Yonder: The cloud catcher chronicles, is about exploration, crafting, farming and loosing yourself for hours. |
| Artem Kulakov - KIXEYE
Artem is one of the founding members of KIXEYE Australia where he's been managing technology and software development for the last 5 years. Prior to that Artem built strategy games at Sega/Creative Assembly, racing games at Ratbag and interactive software for other industries. |
