GO423 Symposium Eventbrite OPEN

The GO423 Symposium is back, featuring the best and most loved of the local game development scene. Two days of speakers, panels, workshops and our favourite GO423 Games Show-n-Tell exhibition and OPEN MIC afternoon. The Brisbane International Games Developers Association (brIGDA) and the Game On public programs bring you a series of answers to a lot of questions – Why, Who, Where and How.

A chance for a party and our own private view of the Games as Art exhibition before it closes. Featuring pizza, beer and sounds provided by our own very adored Zedgames (no registration required).

GO423 Symposium @ The Cube, P Block QUT Gardens Point Campus (George St. Brisbane)

DAY 1: Saturday August 3
A morning of panels featuring local game industry folks talking about some aspects of those WHY, WHO and WHERE questions. Followed by a keynote talk from our own Game Developers of Australia Association and friends about game making futures in Australia. The afternoon on Day 1 offers workshop opportunites framed by HOW to make that future happen.

Day 2: Sunday August 4
A day of answers: WE make games! A morning of Classic Post Mortems, GDC style, more panels about making games, followed by an afternoon of locally made games and ‘works in process’ to play and chat about in our Games Show-n-tell exhibition, and our very favourite Open Mic.
